Came across this piece recently. I was doing concept art for a Play Station video game (Akimi Village, you should check it out). And I was drawing a lot of buildings. The buildings themselves were fun but I wanted to draw something organic and alive, so I put a big bird perch on top of the building so I could design a fun bird to go along with it.
